Hi! I’m Emily Rest, a creative, detail-oriented, and passionate graphic designer with a love for bringing ideas to life through visual storytelling. When I'm not immersed in design, you can find me playing video games, curling or hanging out with friends. These activities fuel my creativity and keep me inspired, helping me to see the world through different perspectives, which I bring to my designs. I am passionate about graphic design because it’s the perfect blend of art and communication. I desire to create meaningful and visually compelling work that leaves a lasting impression.

When I'm not designing, I am very passionate about my other interests.
Competitive Curling
I have been playing competitive curling ever since I was 9 years old. It has always been a big passion of mine. I aspire to go farther every year in the sport.
Some of my major past accomplishments are:
- Bronze Medal 2023 Ontario Winter Games
- 2023 u18 Provincial Championship
- 2024 u21 Provincial Championship
Playing Video Games
My other biggest passion in life is gaming. Any evening where I am not curling, I will be playing video games for hours. I have been gaming ever since I was young, but in October 2023 I bought myself my first gaming PC. This has expanded my gaming passion infinitely, and I have even started streaming my games to twitch.
My Partner Jack
My amazing partner Jack is the reason I keep going every day. He never fails to make me laugh. He is a big reason why I am so passionate about the different aspects of my life and my main motivation.
